Recently I had the opportunity to design some custom graphics for Billabong. This is my kind of project! Art Direction: Create a fresh collage with unique typography.

A few years back, I had the opportunity to design one of Switchfoot’s albums (Nothing Is Sound) along with a full-scale marketing campaign, stage banners and concert merchandise. During the process I designed this icon/mark to go along with their identity. I’ve seen it pop up here and there over the years; on their drum set, in t-shirt designs, on posters and more recently, in the background of their latest video “The Sound” – where it was made into a huge light bulb sign.
These are a few screen shots from the video with the icon/mark in the background. I also had the opportunity to go on set and watch some of the filming of this video. It was really fun. To watch the full video ‘click here.’

Clark Studios was commissioned to design a Market Hall promotional poster for their summer movie series. Beginning with a branded name solution (Movie Mania) we set the tone for this unique marketing piece. Continuing the vintage, wood block style established for Market Hall events, this custom type treatment and fun vibe caters to a younger crowd of movie watchers. Enjoy!
